Headlee Family Days: Welll Long Time No Blog

Headlee Family Days: Welll Long Time No Blog

Welll Long Time No Blog

Well, to honor my son and husbands Tee Ball team,
I will write in GREEN!!
Tee ball is off and running. I feel like my life just flipped upside down. Trestyn is loving the game, Trae, really wants to play the game. This picture was taken after Tuesday nights game. We had alot of fun. Shane is enjoying the kids, and suprisingly, he is very patient with them.
I sit in the stands, cheer Trestyn on, and try to keep Trae out of harms way. ( that is more of a chore than coaching).
This has been an emotional week. Our close friend has started chemo and has had good and bad days. The boys and I took the family dinner tonight. They are so appreciative of all that people are doing.
Then we were off to the hospital to visit a long, dear friend of mine who is in town helping her mother through a maicetomy (spelling). It is so awesome to see her, just wish it was on happier terms. Her mother is doing good. The prognosis looks good. Then we ended our time visiting a new member of my bosses family. Her daughter delivered her daughter Releigh this afternoon. What a beautiful family.
Tomorrow, our communtiy says good bye to a wonderful lady that I didn't spend alot of time with, but she did woderful things for my boys through Shane's mom. Hard week, but we are moving through. Hope that all of you are staying healthy, are very happy, and taking the time to tell all those close to you and not so close any more how much you love them. Life is to short, but is amazing when you have friends, and family around.

God Bless

Happy Days

Had a wonderful weekend with Uncle Matt. The boys absolutely love hanging out with him. Busy couple of days, now Trae is under the weaterh. I am not sure if it is to much heat or end of a nasty cold.

Trestyn is in full Tee Ball mode. He has his first game next Sat. Will update then. Talk with you all soon.

Little Boys growing up fast.

So last night when I picked the boys up at daycare..Trestyn happily informed me that there was a tragic event in his mouth.. A WHAT??? Yes a tragic event...a loose tooth! Our little boy is growing up fast. I remember the first tooth coming in..ouch is all I can say. Now we have him carefully eating to not break it off. He is so excited, keeps moving it with his tongue. It is to cute. Trae just thinks it is funny and that Trestyn is going to have a hole in his mouth. Magically, Trae also thinks his teeth are loose.

Shane and I are enjoying our little men. They are loving the fact that it is getting nicer out, and play everyday. They are so creative..who new that the swing set would become a pirate ship? They even use their golf clubs for swords and guns.

Our latest adventure has been planting our vegetables. We started with little starter kits, and have had transplant to larger planters...Shane is actually taking part in it..helping them water them and look at the growing leaves. We have peppers, onions, cucumbers, lettuce and carrots. Can hardly wait til they have to eat it. :)

Well, just wanted to give everyone an update. Looking forward to this weekend...spending time with my brother Matt...haven't seen or talked to him in a couple years.

Back to work...goal for the weekend...download pics from my camera to computer.

Love to all...

The Boys

So the boys have been a little on the naughty side. I wish there was a way for them to understand that beating each other up, is not healthy. Someday, I guess. Shane and Trestyn start tee ball on thrusday. Trae and I will entertain ourselves, maybe some golfing as it is suppose to be in the 70's by then.

Sorry so short, just updating.

Talk to you all soon.

Headlee Family Days: April Arrives

Headlee Family Days: April Arrives

April Arrives

Can you believe that April is here? Before we know it, summer will be knocking on our doors. The boys are anxious to get outside. Unfortunatley when it is raining and snowing, they want to stay in. Daycare is closed this week, so Trestyn and Trae have been making the rounds between the grandparents houses. It is fun for them to get to hang out, play games, color and just be cared for.

Shane is staying kind of busy at work. A little slow with tax season. I wish I could say the same. We have been swamped at the bank. Helping coworkers cross train to new areas is excititing.

Looking forward to Easter. We will attend church with Mom, Dad, and Heather. Then come home for brunch and an easter egg hunt in the back yard. (As long as Cooper doesn't get them first.) Then we will go to Shane's folks for dinner. Should be a fun weekend.

We send our love to everyone. May you all have a safe, blessed Easter. God Bless,
